How To Build Tent Dayz

The Shelter Kit is a type of base building equipment in DayZ Standalone.

• Military tents replace your backpack unless you're holding it in hands. It will hold something like 240 items (correct me if im wrong). I think the tents still stay there for 8 days (if untouched, it will reset back to 8 days every time you or someone else interacts with it), it only stays with the server it's put in.
• That means your m4a1 is 1 slot, a tire is 1 slot, a jerrycan is 1 slot, anything and everything is 1 slot when inside a tent. Storage is broken down into 3 different categories, each one has it’s own amount of storage space. Weapons & Tools(including NV goggles, binoculars, and side arms) – 10 Slots. Backpacks – 5 Slots. Items – 50 Slots.
• 'A camping tent that can be pitched, allowing you extended storage safe from others.' — In-game description The camping tent is construction equipment that allows the creation of a tent for extra storage in DayZ. Tents are used to store items and can be placed anywhere on the map, except inside buildings. Placing a tent can be tricky - try slowly moving the player's character to one side.

When placed, the kit allows the for construction of either an Improvised Shelter, a Leather Shelter or a Tarp Shelter.
